Health insurance

Your savings are meant for dreams, not hospitals.Health insurance in Rajula for your whole family.

One hospital stay can use up years of savings. We help you choose family health insurance that fits your needs and budget, and explain the fine print before you buy.

Who needs health insurance

Young families

A family floater covers you, your spouse and your children under one shared sum insured, for one premium.

Parents and senior citizens

Parents usually need their own policy, as their bills are likely to be bigger. Buying early, before new illnesses show up, makes it easier.

People with only office cover

Cover from your employer usually ends when you leave the job. A personal policy stays with you, and the waiting periods you finish keep counting as long as you renew on time.

How we help with health insurance

Understand your family’s needs

We note everyone’s age and health history, and the hospitals you would likely use, in Rajula or in bigger centres like Amreli and Bhavnagar.

Read the fine print together

We compare waiting periods, room rent limits, co-pay, sub-limits and the list of network hospitals, so there are no surprises later.

Stay with you at claim time

We help with cashless approval, reimbursement papers and follow-up with the insurer or TPA. See our claim support.

What we do for you

  • Help you choose between individual cover and a family floater
  • Check whether hospitals near you are in the insurer’s cashless network
  • Explain waiting periods, room rent limits, co-pay and sub-limits in plain words
  • Suggest a top-up or super top-up when you need more cover at a lower cost
  • Find suitable cover for your parents, keeping their age and health in mind
  • Help you renew on time so you don’t lose your continuity benefits
Section 80D tax benefit: old regime only

Health insurance premiums for yourself, your family and your parents can be deducted under Section 80D only if you file under the old tax regime. The new regime doesn’t allow it. Tax rules change, so check the current limits with your CA. Buy health cover for protection first; any tax saving is a bonus.

Individual cover vs family floater

How the cover worksEach person has their own sum insuredOne sum insured shared by the whole family
PremiumUsually more in total for the same cover per personUsually less than separate policies for everyone

Watch out forMore policies to track and renewOne big claim can use up the cover for everyone that year

A floater’s premium usually depends on the eldest member’s age, so parents are often better off with a separate policy. Read the policy wording of each plan before you decide.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I take individual policies or family health insurance?
For a young couple with children, a family floater is often simpler and cheaper. If someone is older or has an illness, a separate policy for them can protect the rest of the family’s cover. Many families use both: a floater for the young ones and separate cover for parents.
What is the difference between cashless and reimbursement?
In a cashless claim, you are treated at a network hospital and the insurer or TPA pays the hospital directly for approved costs. In a reimbursement claim, you pay first and claim the money back with the original bills. Our cashless claim guide explains both.
Are existing illnesses covered from day one?
Usually not. Most policies have an initial waiting period after you first buy, a longer one for illnesses you already have, and waiting periods for some named treatments. The length differs from policy to policy, so check the policy wording. Declare every existing illness honestly at the start.
What are room rent limits, co-pay and sub-limits?
A room rent limit caps what the policy pays per day for your room; if you take a costlier room, other bills may also be cut in proportion. Co-pay means you pay a fixed share of every claim. Sub-limits cap what is paid for certain treatments. Fewer limits usually mean a higher premium, so we help you find the right balance.
What is a top-up or super top-up?
A top-up pays once a single claim crosses a set amount, called the deductible. A super top-up counts all your claims in the year together against that amount. Both are low-cost ways to raise your cover above your base policy.
How do I buy health insurance in Rajula for my parents?
Get them a separate policy, as early as you can. Expect medical tests, waiting periods for existing illnesses and sometimes a co-pay. Read our guide on health insurance for parents, or bring their reports to our Rajula office and our team will go through the options with you.
